Guests are welcome to bring their own fishing tackle.
The vessel offers a limited range of goods and souvenirs for sale. These include some personal toiletries, film, fishing lures and branded merchandise.
In keeping with the vessel and expected weather conditions, passengers are advised to bring sufficient changes of clothing, mostly lightweight, including T-shirts, long-sleeve collared shirts, windcheater, waterproof jacket and comfortable walking shoes if planning to go ashore. On board, passengers can either go bare foot or wear non marking deck shoes which should have clean soles on arrival.
Prepare for the sun with a hat, sunglasses and sunburn cream and at night, insect repellent is advisable when on coastal cruises - especially in the Hinchinbrook region. For snorkelling enthusiasts, feel free to bring your personal snorkelling gear and for the keen fisherman your own rod and reel. Sea sickness tablets are recommended (just in case), cameras and film are vital and international travel power adapters if required. Utopia has regular Australian 240 volt power outlets throughout the vessel.
